My beloved Three bedroom apartment is romantic, private and thoroughly comfortable - and right in the heart of Melbourne famous city laneways. . With attractions, shops, fantastic restaurants and great public transport on the doorstep, you'll appreciate the leafy treetops and spectacular view as much as clean, modern convenience and cosy home decor. With beautiful high ceilings, triple-brick white walls, towering lead-light windows, an abundance of beautiful natural light and all modern conveniences, my apartment is both an ocean of serenity and in the perfect centre of Melbourne's bustling CBD. Among the pretty treetops of a heritage innercity area and has spectacular views of Melbourne's attractions, public transport right on the doorstep and all the on-foot access you require to Melbourne's great department stores and boutiques, world-class museums and famous restaurants and cafes. No hotel in the city is as central to the action. High-speed internet is provided free of charge. There's a full bathroom with bath, own laundry, modern kitchen facilities and even a library. It's a great place for entertaining, but an equally comfortable place to chill out. The neighbourhood is incredibly safe, with plenty of people around, but the flat is marvellously quiet. The gentle sound of a tram bell, birds or wind in the treetops is the best city soundscape there is. I leave a very detailed manual for my guests with instructions for everything in the flat as well as some top tips to hidden local treasures, like my favourite vintage stores, bars and hot chocolate hideouts. With the best boutiques and department stores metres from the apartment, there are many pretty things and people about. The blocks north of here constitute the hip, innercity Asian student neighbourhood with fun shops and restaurants. To the south are the glorious laneways and the ultra-posh neighbourhood of Collins St. In the dead centre of the city, it's also really safe, as there are always lights on and people about. A 24 hour McDonalds across the road keeps a reassuring eye on the street. As the dead centre of the city, this address is at the hub of all Melbourne public transport. You will not need a car while you are here. I have a fantastic, quirky library of strange books and cult movies that you are more than free to browse. I keep a pantry of at least fifty (yes, 50!) types of tea and have everything you need to stage a posh tea-party. Your only instruction is to have a thoroughly wonderful time!
