Garden Cottage

This is a fully furnished self contained 2 bedroom shared or private accommodation. All meals are on your own. Each room consist of 2 beds consisting of a double bed with a single bed loft for private use or couples. We are located walking distance to the beach, library, shops, Mall and near by Tafe. We are a young couple with 4 grown children who are married and living away from home. There will be an extra $50 cleaning fee collected on arrival Room(s): 1. Triple Room (Granny flat bedroom ) with Shared bathroom A shared room in granny flat. Use of full granny flat for occupants use only. All rooms overlook gardens. East facing with AM Sunrise. Capacity: 3 Rates: 600.00 Weekly / 2500.00 Monthly House Rules: Please be courteous of others in the shared accommodation. Clean up and keep your space tidy. Do not leave dirty clothes or towels laying around. Keep kitchen tidy and dishes washed up after each use. No overnight guests allowed. If you would like to invite friends over please communicate this with me and others in advance. No drinking. No smoking anywhere near or around the house. Additional Info: Thank you for choosing Prescott Cottage for your short term or long term stay. On your arrival we are giving you a list of rules or conditions we would like for you to adhere to. Each person is to maintain their own personal space and keep things tidy and not leave personal items laying around in common areas - kitchen, bathroom, lounge, including bedroom when sharing a room. No excessive drinking, partying - and no drug use. No smoking near or inside the home (please take it up top / curbside on the street). Be respectable and mindful of others sharing the flat at all times. Usage of Kitchen Take in consideration one occupant at a time using kitchen area. Please wash dishes after each use and DO NOT leave dirty dishes in sink. Put anything away that was used and wipe down bench tops and appliances - microwave, toaster oven. Please sweep floor in kitchen after use. Do not use this bathroom or kitchen sink for personal laundry. Toilet Use No toiletries will be provided. Each person must supply their own toilet paper. Only toilet paper is to be flushed down the toilet. Ladies please dispose of tampons / pads / napkins wrapped up in bin and DO NOT flush them down the toilet. Do not use this bathroom or kitchen sink for personal laundry. Laundry Borrowed sheets and towels are to be washed weekly and / or arranged by me to wash them for $7 extra (this is a requirement to maintain proper mattress hygiene and sanitation for towels). Laundry is never to be done in the kitchen sink at any time. There is a laundromat nearby. DO NOT hang clothes inside the home at any time. The cottage flat will be cleaned thoroughly fortnightly by us, but needs to be maintained / kept clean by all occupants between cleans. Do not hang wet towels on any furniture or over bed rails. Please use the rails designated in the bathroom or behind your door. Outside / Back Yard You are welcome to use the back yard and BBQ anytime. Clean up after yourself when using BBQ. Please notify us when gas tank is empty. We have cushions for the seats outside. Please put them back after use. DO NOT leave them outside due to weather. Breakage Please notify us ASAP of anything that has broken – dishes, furniture, etc. Cost will be deducted from bond. Please be aware and mindful of water and electricity usage. Be mindful consumption when showering, brushing teeth, cleaning dishes, etc. – Don’t leave water running when it’s not being used. Do not leave lights on in unoccupied areas. Turn lights out after leaving each room. WI-FI users. Please no downloads (music/movies etc…..) - just basic usage The accommodation and use of this unit is for paying occupants only. Because this is our family home, and is also used by other paying occupants, we need to be aware and keep the amount of people on the premise in check. Socialising and hanging out with invited friends is discouraged. Please do this at other locations and in other public places. There are no free overnight stays of family or other friends and guests. You can check with Theresa for the requirements / fees ($36 per night paid in advance) for these types of special arrangements; but they are discouraged. We are easily contactable and usually home if you need anything or have any questions. Thank you!
