Urban oasis in heart of Chicago

Sunny, airy 3rd-floor apartment on a quiet street in a lively part of town in the heart of the city. 6 blocks from Wicker Park, 2 miles from downtown, on a quiet street in a pleasant, safe neighborhood. Divvy bike share station at the corner, grocery store 1 block away. Many great restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops within walking distance. Private bedroom, private bathroom (shower, no bath) down the hall, hair dryer, iron, washer/dryer, printer available. Small east facing balcony, and great air circulation in the apartment, so air conditioning is rarely needed, but available if preferred. This is a no smoking home. I am an outgoing single woman, recently retired publishing professional, 30 year resident of Chicago, nonsmoker, knowledgeable about the city, and interested in travel and other cultures. I love to cook, and am happy to share meals at times, but don't want to provide all meals. If you like to cook, I have a small but well-equipped kitchen and am an adventurous eater.
