My home is in the vicinity of Gateway mall and Barclays Center (sports stadium) . I also live close to the YMCA , which is a fitness center with schedules from Monday to Sunday along with fitness instructors, there’s also a public library around the block from my home and a big park for all activities ( Cypress Hills Park ). I’m a minute away from the J train station and about 5-10 minutes away from JFK airport... About 10 minute ride to Manhattan as well, depending on where you’re heading.
