Welcome! We are a family of Caribbean descent, and proud Canadians. In our home there is myself, Carol, my two adults daughters, and our dog, Chai. We're always happy to welcome you into our home, and show you warm hospitality. We live in a great neighbourhood, in close proximity to many amenities. There are restaurants, cafes, fast food shops - all within 5 minutes of the front door! In the warmer weather, there is access to the Toronto bike share program just up the road which is a great way to explore the city. Surrounded by parks, there's no shortage of getting your taste of nature in the city. There are multiple bus routes, to take you to major subway stations and attractions all around the city. Our family are Torontonians to our core, and love to keep up with activities, and events all around the city so feel free to ask us for any advice about what to do, see, eat or try! We'd love to share our favourites with you. *Please note, we will ONLY host WOMEN. Thank you.* Room(s): 1. Single Room (Guest Room ) with Shared bathroom This room is for 1 female occupant. It is a twin bed on the second floor, with a south facing window. It has a night table, desk, and a built-in closet. It is across from the washroom for easy access, and has a door with a key lock for extra privacy. Capacity: 1 Rates: 240.00 Weekly / 850.00 Monthly 2. Double Room (Blue Room) with Shared bathroom Capacity: 2 Rates: 240.00 Weekly / 950.00 Monthly House Rules: *We will ONLY host WOMEN, thank you.* - We ask that you respect our home, in the same way, that you would respect your own home! We ask that guests arrive by 3 pm and depart by 12 pm on checkout days. Payment Method: Please note that we require our guest to pay 25% of the booking total by email transfer in advance to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to homestay.com) Cancellation Policy: We ask out quest to give us at least 5 days notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than that will not be refunded. All final payments are due 24 hours after the arrival by e-transfer. - The use of laundry, ironing and hair blow-drying/straightening is preferred for before 7 am or after 7 pm during weekdays, and anytime on weekends to conserve energy use. - Please, do not eat in the bedroom. Feel free to eat your snacks and meals at the dining room table or on the patio in the backyard.
