Room for rent in Pascoe Vale! I have a room available in my spacious, fully furnished townhouse. Bedroom will need to be furnished. Available EARLY - MID FEBRUARY. Females only. Main bedroom (for the renter) will be unfurnished, but the photo gives you an idea of the size. The townhouse is in a great location in Pascoe Vale. Nearest train station is Pascoe Vale Station (a 5-minute walk). Coffee shop and small strip of shops with take away food available and a convenience store up the road (also a 5-minute walk). It’s situated on a quiet street with a private garage available to the person renting with street parking for visitors (with no permit required). This is an ideal home for someone who would like to be close enough to the city for convenience but also enjoys the appeal of the Northern suburbs. A calm, quiet home with only 3 other residences on the same lot. Excellent, considerate, caring neighbours who are also respectful of the quiet space. Would suit someone who is studying and working part-time. Full time employment also considered, but my daughter is also living in the other room, and she will be studying with part time work. Close to many city-based universities, including University of Melbourne, RMIT and Victoria University, with easy transport to Monash University and Deakin University. The townhouse: Bedroom is 3.7 by 3.3 and includes a large, shared bathroom upstairs (with a separate shower and bath) and toilet. Lots of people usually comment that it’s huge! An additional toilet is located downstairs. There is a study nook upstairs (if required - above the staircase). A separate laundry with a washing machine. If you want to use a dryer, there is one located up the end of the street in the laundromat, otherwise there is a washing line. Very convenient! Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, all crockery/utensils/pots/pans/cooking utensils included. An open plan dining room and living room with all furnishings, including a TV. Small amount of storage available under the staircase or in the garage, although the garage is open. Beautiful, quiet courtyard, which is secure with an easy to maintain garden. The room: You will need to furnish the room only. Room comes with the convenience of comfortably fitting a queen-sized bed and side drawers/tables and includes a BIR and split system. Rent is $1129.76 a calendar month + bills, which will be split evenly. Bond is $1129.76. This is deemed as $260 per week. About us: I (Sara) am the landlord. I won’t be living at the property. My daughter is Ella (please see below). I will be respectful of your personal space and will rarely visit unless you need something or, to meet up with Ella. Ella (She/Her) and Sookie (feline kitty who thinks she’s a dog)! ;-) Ella is 19 and studying full time in engineering. Ella works part time. Ella is an easy-going person who loves a good comedic series, diverse music, rollerblading and volleyball. Ella enjoys a neat, organised house and she is very quiet, but interested to spend time with you, whilst also respecting your space. Ella enjoys learning about other cultures and different languages. She studied Japanese at High School. She doesn’t drink or smoke and would prefer a non-smoker. Ella has a quirky, extremely amusing black cat called Sookie who also lives at the property. She is affectionate, gentle and an inside cat. Sookie and Ella enjoy a calm home, and are also respectful of those who are neurodivergent and LGBTIQA+ About you: Looking for someone who is likeminded with living in a shared living space, clean and a respectful roomie, similar in age (up to late 20s), studying with a part-time/full-time job. Reliable with paying bills (shared between you and Ella) and rent on time. Open to those studying full time if they can provide evidence that they can pay the rent and bills. Must be a cat person!
