It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property. Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, we will assess on a case-by-case basis whether they should bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home. On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night. Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly. Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee. We do not accept pets. By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious: 1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own. Storage lockers and parking are additional costs. The common areas come fully furnished. Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential. You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy. No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food. There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day. Our coliving home is in a perfectly safe neighborhood where you can walk by yourself in the evening without any problem. With just a few minute's walk, you have a selection of good and cheap restaurants. Even though our location is good if you'd like to walk or bike, it's a 10-minute driving distance to the Gautrain (subway station). You can take a taxi to OR Tambo in just 30 minutes.
