Live with me & Learn English!

Are you in the UK for work or studies? Do you want to improve your English while you are here? Look no further! Come and live with me - I'm an English language teacher who is opening my home to an international professional! I have a double bedroom available in my home (close to the city centre, well linked with public transport). The room is available from Spring 2023 for a minimum of 6 months and maximum 12 months. (Tenancy start date is flexible but ideally around April 2024 time**) Price Structure: Option 1: £800pcm Room & light breakfast Option 2: £1000pcm Room, light breakfast & 5hrs of English lessons per week Extras: - Evening meal can be provided at an additional price, please message me for details. About me: Hello! My name's Alexandra and I'm a fully qualified English teacher. I work full time as a language teacher and would love to host an international student or professional who plans to be in Manchester. More details about my services: Language Education: I can provide up to 5 hours of English lessons each week. This will be at your language level. We can include a range of activities from grammar, reading, listening and speaking (or we can focus on specific things you want!) We can arrange the best times and days around your schedule. Also I’ll be around the house to practice your English every day. Meals: Totally optional, message me for more details about this! I can provide you with evening meals Monday-Friday (and maybe the occasional bonus weekend meal for free if you're in the house! ;) I will cook based on your dietary requirements and general likes/dislikes discussed prior to arrival. I am a good cook and we enjoy making an eating good food in my home! :) Excursions and Activities: I can take you out and show you some of Manchester during your stay. We can visit different cultural places such as museums, national parks, indoor activity centres, shopping centres etc. This can be arranged based on your interests and schedule. (Optional) There is a bike that you can use as you wish. I can give you lots of recommendations for the city and surrounding areas! & I'll be around for you to practice your English conversation. Rules & Requirements: • Guest must be in work or education during the week, either on a part- or full-time basis. • Guest must be comfortable navigating the city independently after a few times with the host. • No smoking indoors, only outside the property.
