Family of 3 looking to share our home. We live in the National Capital Region, 25 minutes from Ottawa in Gatineau Quebec. We are very comfortable with language and cultural differences and the transitions required when experiencing international experiences. We are both interested in travel and other cultures and are always willing to learn about how other cultures live. We are happy to host to either male or female and you will find yourself in a beautifully furnished home. We have a 5 year old and also a little dog that is VERY quiet and calm. Our dog is a shih tzu therefore hypoallergenic. You would have your own space; a bedroom, your own living room and your own semi bathroom (you would only be required to share the shower and/or tub). Bedroom, living and bathroom are located in a finished basement. The only time we would have to use the basement is to do laundry. Your bedroom would come with a queen bed (including bedding), a full closet, an armoire, night table, alarm clock and lamp. In your living you, you would have your own TV with cable (Bell Express Vu with more than 80 channels), a sofa and chair, a desk and of course high speed internet. The only major requirement we would have is that your area be clean. Respect is also very important. Your meals would be prepared for you. I live within walking distance to the bus line that will allow you to go anywhere in Gatineau and Ottawa. We live at approximately 25 minutes from Ottawa. As my spouse and I work in downtown Ottawa, we drive there Monday to Friday; leave at 6 AM and back home at approximately 4:30 PM so you are more than welcome to join us. You may also use our phone and in the summer you will have access to the pool and deck. We also live close to pharmacies, grocery stores etc. If you will like to see pictures, just let me know. If you can legally drive in Canada, we could lend you one of our vehicles from time to time. So come stay in our home and enjoy the generosity of welcoming you as a member of the household.
