The property is located in a quiet neighborhood near Ribeira Grande, only minutes away from Santa Barbara beach, one of the most beautiful beaches this island has to offer. From here you can reach all sightseeing areas easily and we are only 15 minutes away from the airport in Ponta Delgada. São Miguel is a prominent caldera island in the archipelago. To the east is Furnas, one of the island's earliest calderas. Due to its amazing beauty, Sete Cidades, the island's largest caldera, is a must-see for most island visitors. Sete Cidades has a great range of walking and cycling trails, and its twin crater lakes provide a spectacular kayaking spot for the more athletic. Ponta Delgada, the island's capital, is a friendly, charming city where everything, including many of the island's best restaurants, is within walking distance. We are located on the beautiful island of São Miguel, which is part of the stunning Azores island archipelago situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Is it possible to arrive before the designated check-in time or stay past the check-out time? We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort. Please note that additional charges do apply. Generally, younger people are staying with us and are looking to make new social connections in the house. The common areas come fully furnished. The bedrooms are furnished with everything essential. We recommend that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own. Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes. We would expect and appreciate it that you clean up after yourself if you make any excessive mess. We have laundry machines available to everyone. Yes. The communal areas are cleaned frequently. You are allowed to check in earlier. If it is not possible to have your room ready for an early check-in, you can use the communal areas until the room is ready. Please get in touch with us before you move in to coordinate. If you wish to check out late, you are free to use our communal areas. If the room is not booked, you can extend your stay. If you wish to shorten your stay on short notice, we can't give a refund. Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight. Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. You can book an airport pick-up with the host. But we recommend a rental car to have full freedom to explore the island properly. We have a large open-space dining and living room on the ground floor and a large open-space coworking area and living room on the first floor. . Yes, if there is enough room availability, we are happy to host groups or retreats. A maximum of 8 people We welcome people from everywhere, but mostly have people from Europe. At the moment, most people are staying with us short-term, but we welcome long-term stays of up to 3 months. Yes, every room has a lock, The property has a wall surrounding it with a locked gate entrance. The host lives on site and is home most of the day, so it is very safe. With just a few minutes drive, you have a selection of good restaurants. We have a bus stop just 3 minutes walk from the house. The nearest and only airport on the island is in the main city of Ponta Delgada, just 15 minutes drive away. We have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food. There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience. To keep you and your friends entertained, you may go to the beach, surf, go on hikes, take a relaxing dip in the island's volcanic hot pools, go canyoning, go whale watching, or explore the many beautiful sites of this island.
