Garden Paradise

I live in a cute and cozy apartment in a beautiful and exciting area of Vancouver called "Mount Pleasant". I am on the ground floor, south facing, looking into the most beautiful garden -- I call it the Garden of Eden. My place is quiet and super bright, and inside it's like a silent retreat. There is a huge, shared back lawn at the back of my building, with tall trees providing cooling shade. When you go out the front doors of the building, however, you are one block from a hustling, bustling bee hive of fun activity: Mount Pleasant Park, which is a huge, vibrant park which takes up several city blocks, and Main Street with dozens of delicious, character restaurants, cafes and novelty shops. There is also a Save-on-Foods grocery store, post office and dollar store in a mini-mall which is also only two blocks away. This is the hub of Vancouver, where you are 10 to 20 minutes from downtown, Kitsilano, Commercial Drive, Vancouver's beaches --all the happening areas -- and right in the middle of this happening area, "Mount Pleasant", a beautiful walking neighbourhood full of gorgeous, character parks, homes and shops. I am a certified English and French teacher. I love to welcome guests to my home. There is street parking on the street (14th Avenue near Main, or Quebec Street). The place is tastefully decorated with live-wood furniture, and a modern white couch, which can convert into another queen-sized bed to sleep two additional people. There is a shared fridge in the kitchen and in the bedroom. There is a patio which greets the morning sun and a plethora of birds. I require a minimum of two days. No smoking or pets. Guests must be quiet and respectful of my neighbours, no loud partying. It is a very quiet building. Cash payment is due on arrival. Room(s): 1. Family Room (Royal room) with Private bathroom The master bedroom is cool and quiet, with extra fridge and TV. The mattress is brand new, with a feather duvet. Modern pullout couch can provide an extra queen-sized space for two more people. Capacity: 4 Rates: 575.00 Weekly / Monthly House Rules: No smoking, drinking, drugs or pets. Quiet time from 11 pm to 7 am. Limited fridge space, but there is an additional fridge in the bedroom. Lock all doors when leaving. Keep areas clean, as you would your own home. No visitors without the host's consent. Quiet entry and exit. Welcome to use the TV and to relax on the patio. Please leave key on the kitchen counter when leaving, and arrive at pre-arranged check-in time.
