Large 2 storey house in Shailer Park, high on the hill with views, with a choice of 2 double fully furnished rooms available. One room has 2 king single beds, with desk, chair, chest of drawers and expansive wardrobes: the other double room has a double bed, side tables, desk, dressing table with drawers and an expansive wardrobe. Guests bathroom is shared with other guests, the host has an ensuite. Guests have access to a medium sized fridge, table, microwave, cutlery , plates, glasses and cups in a separate room adjoining the bedrooms upstairs. This area is designed for reheating take away meals or preparing cold meals eg breakfast cereal, sandwiches etc. This area is not designed for cooking. There are no kitchen or cooking facilities available, in the house. This homestay caters for guests who are working or travelling. Off-street parking is available. No smoking is allowed on the premises. There are pets here, one dog and one cat who reside on the premises and who love having visitors. House rules- shoes left outside, house shoes or slippers only allowed inside the house. All food brought into the house to be in containers so as not to attract pests. All cutlery and plates etc to be washed after use and not left on the table. All food scraps /rubbish to be taken outside and placed in bins, not left overnight in rooms. No wet towels or clothes in bedrooms as can damage the timber furniture. To stay in bathroom or hang outside on clothes line. Wifi is quite strong and included in rent. All facilities are included in rent with fair useage policy ie showers to be limited to 8 minutes so hot water available for others. Hyperdome shopping center is only 1.5 klms away with a popular bus transport hub comprising a network of bus services. The Center includes a multi screen cinema, many restaurants, cafes and take aways, a food court and numerous retail shops. Situated only 30 klms to Brisbane CBD, only 45 klms to the Gold Coast, 20 klms to the famous Morton Bay and only 30 klms to the theme parks of Dreamworld, Movie World, Sea World and Wet and Wild, to name a few. Food brought into house must be in containers and food scraps and leftovers to be bagged and put into the bin outside daily, not left in rooms overnight to attract vermin. Plates , cutlery etc to be washed daily and not left dirty overnight. No smoking within the residence or near the property. Guests who have booked in are the only guests in the house and can not bring others here without the hosts permission. Visiting friends are not permitted to stay overnight or use the showers. Wet items ie clothes, are not to be left in bedrooms as will damage the wood furniture, those items to stay in the bathroom or hang outside on the line.
