You'll have the rest and privacy you need to be refreshed for your Arizona adventures or business. We're sensitive to those with allergies and need for cleanliness. No dust bunnies or moldy monsters to be found! No pets and dander-free. *********************** THE SPACE *********************** Welcome to The Nightcap on Priest! Our home is just a 6 minute Uber/Lyft/rental drive from the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and next to 2 major highways (I-10 and the loop 202) for super quick access to places in downtown Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, and even Chandler. Park anywhere on our extended driveway or under the carport for covered parking. You'll be given a code for convenient, keyless entry through the carport door leading into the laundry room and kitchen area. Our neighborhood is older but in a safe location. Many of the homes, including our own, were built in the 1960s. Ours has retained some of it's old style charm with lots of wood and brick throughout. The room is thoughtfully decorated with a lounge bar theme, which includes the following: ** Fresh towels ** Towel rack (behind the door) ** Luggage rack ** Laundry basket ** Clothes hangers ** Mini-fridge ** Dinner tray table ** Ceiling fan ** Iron and ironing board ** Hair dryer, curling iron and flat iron ** Small selection of books to read ** Travel guides ** Executive-level office chair ** Office desk ** Extra blanket and towels And for maximum comfort: ** Quality, queen size mattress ** Queen size comforter ** Microfleece blanket ** Fresh, super soft bed sheets ** 2 types of pillows (a low profile TempurPedic cervical pillow and a high profile down pillow) *********************** GUEST ACCESS *********************** We want our home to be your home during your stay. You will have access to our: 1. Laundry room - Bounce sheets, laundry stain remover and laundry detergent 2. Dining room - Sturdy, large dining table to sit, play games, study, eat...whatever :) - 4 comfortable, large dining chairs - 3 extra dinner tray tables 3. Living room - Large screen TV with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime - Leather couch that fully reclines - VOIP Phone with free national calling - Mini grand piano (yes feel free to play a song or two!) 4. Guest bathroom - Shampoo/conditioner - Liquid body soap - Extra towels 5. Kitchen - Microwave - Stove - Oven - Fridge (only if you need more room for your food -- let us know!) - Utensils, glasses, pots and pans - Other appliances (crock pot, pressure cooker, blender, etc) - Purified drinking water - Coffee and tea (decaf available) 6. We are avid hikers, backpackers, and travelers. Need some tips on some fun day hikes, or local dinning? Feel free to ask! We can provide directions, fastest routes, areas of interest, or our favorite restaurants for any budget. If you happen to be lucky to stay during a brisket or chili night, do not be shy to ask if you can have a bite. We're quite proud of how they have been turning out! - Rob and Amber ********************** OTHER THINGS TO NOTE *********************** *** Please note Phoenix is a large, sprawling metropolitan area, and it's often difficult to navigate the city without a vehicle. That said, it is possible to walk or bike to nearby places but it will take longer to get to where you want to be. If you have plans beyond ASU or downtown Tempe, we recommend renting a car or using a car share app like Uber or Lyft. There are also GRID bikes and Bird/Lyme electric scooters you can rent by the mile. *** To those who care: We use hypoallergenic laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and natural, nontoxic cleaners. The brands we use are ECOS and/or Seventh Generation. For those that prefer it, we also offer standard laundry detergent if requested. We do provide Lysol wipes in the room for your convenience if needed. Room(s): 1. Check-in time is 12PM (noon) - 2AM (next day) and check out by 11AM. Self check-in with smart lock. No drugs. No strong or excessive use of fragrances in the house.
