This lively neighborhood is dotted with cute cafés, wonderful bookshops celebrating the Beatnik era, and even a few once-scandalous nightclubs. And if you're still feeling adventurous, you can walk to The Embarcadero, Pier 39, and Chinatown. Room(s): 1.
