Houston Hobby Homestay

Our family has been hosting students and families for over 15 years now. We currently have a single, double and king bedroom available. There’s a guest bathroom (not private) with a tub and shower. (1) The Single Bedroom has a single size bed, a desk with night lamp, a mirror, ceiling fan and a nightstand. There is also a large walk in closet with shelves for shoes and storage. (2) The Double Bedroom has a queen size bed, a desk with night lamp, a mirror, nightstand and a large closet with shelf. (3) The King Bedroom has a king size bed, a dresser with mirror and, (2) closets with shelves and a private bathroom. We also offer courtesy WiFi and Chargers (iphone, android, iwatch) in every room to use as needed. We work out of our home and available as needed. Our home is cosy and quiet the majority of the time. It is also secured by 24 hour surveillance cameras, inside and out. You’ll have full use and access to the kitchen area. There’s a Keurig Coffee Maker, Microwave, Blender, Pots and Pans, dishes and silverware. Feel free to cook a hot meal and store food and beverages in the refrigerators for later use or that night time snack. * Just cleanup after yourself when you’re done cooking (stove, counter, pots and pans) or eating (plates, cups, silverware and tabletop). Cleanliness is a plus. Filthiness is prohibited. PLEASE NOTE: No Smoking allowed inside or outside the property. NO EXCEPTIONS! There is a park across the street if you must. Also NO OVERNIGHT stays. This is NOT a hotel. It's a family environment. Respect our students and/or other tenants currently staying in the home, as they too will do the same. Families and guests are welcomed with advanced notice and prior authorization from Ms. Carrie first. NO EXCEPTIONS! Many of our students have returned to what they like to call their very own American Home! About Us: We are a very reliable, self-employed, Christian family. We work out of our home to allow us to spend more quality time with each other and to be able to interact with our students and guests even more. There is never a dull moment in our home. We have had some great students and we truly enjoy having them here as part of our family. Its a wonderful feeling to know that we make a difference in their lives as we are sure that we will make a difference in yours too. Transportation: Our family can also assist in providing transportation to and from your school or job for a daily fee, depending on the distance and availability. Homestay Fee: Your rent is due immediately upon arrival via Zelle or Cash only. Our rooms are on a first come first serve basis. If your payment is not received upon reserving your room and another student pays, your room will no longer be available, unless otherwise noted. Deposit Required: A $500. deposit is required to reserve and hold the room for the date(s) you’ve requested. It secures the room for YOU and only you so that no one else can move in while in HOLD status. No exceptions! You'll get your deposit back when your homestay has ended and your room is left in good standing. Zelle or Cash only. Due upon arrival. Everyone is welcomed! Room(s): 1. Single Room (Full Size Bedroom ) with Shared bathroom The Full Size Bedroom has a full size bed, desk with night lamp, mirror, ceiling fan and nightstand. Also a large walk in closet with shelves. We also offer courtesy WiFi and Chargers (iphone, android, iwatch) in every room to use as needed. Capacity: 1 Rates: 325.00 Weekly / 1300.00 Monthly 3. Double Room (King Bedroom ) with Ensuite bathroom The King Bedroom has a king size bed, dresser with mirror and ceiling fan. Also two (2) closets with shelves and a private bathroom. We also offer courtesy WiFi and Chargers (iphone, android, iwatch) in every room to use as needed. Capacity: 2 Rates: 500.00 Weekly / 1600.00 Monthly House Rules: Guests are responsible for the upkeep of the room rented, bathroom and tub/shower after each use, kitchen and dining area after each use. Guest is responsible for his/her own pets and their upkeep. No drugs, smoking, or loud music allowed. Respect our neighbors. House is fenced through out the property and MUST be kept closed and locked at all times for security/safety purposes. Treat and Respect our home as if it were your own. Friends allowed but no overnight stays. Additional Info: A refrigerator is also provided for our guests to share. It can be used to store your groceries, snacks and/or left overs if needed.
