Cozy duplex apartment in Harlem

I am a 58 year old widow who lives in a two bedroom duplex in Harlem, NYC. The building is on a residential street and has evening and night time security. My apartment looks like a town house with a front porch. I have an average size kitchen and a large living/ dining room. I have no pets and it is a smoke free home but smoking is allowed on the porch. The bedrooms are on the second floor and we would share the bathroom. Harlem is a great neighborhood for restaurants, music, and great bagain shopping. I am close to public transporation and I also have a car. We could arrange to go on an excursion or two if you wish. I am a good cook and can offer some dinners for a pre negotiated price. I also like to entertain family and friends. I'm have had several interns/guests over the years, lovely ladies from Belgium, Japan, Brazil, Senegal, and Italy. My last guest actually established herself in NYC and just moved out after three years in my home. I am looking forward to the opportunity to host another lovely lady from abroad. We can offer airport pick up for an additional cost. Payment policy: Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 20% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking via PayPal to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com) Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded. Room(s): 1. Single Room (Your Room ***ONLY FEMALE GUESTS***) with Shared bathroom This is a nice size room for 1 person. It has a window that open out to the porch and a courtyard. Capacity: 1 Rates: 300.00 Weekly / Monthly House Rules: I am easy going but I do have a few rules : No eating in the bedroom. Taking water, tea, coffee or a softdrink to your room is fine. You have use of all the rooms but please clean up after yourself. keeping your room tidy is also appreciated. Please do not bring strangers into the home. If there is a friend you would like to invite over just get my OK in advance. You will have your own keys and be able to come and go as you please. Just take care to not lose them please.
