Our house cleaner comes to clean and sanitize the common areas once a week and is available for room cleaning once a month for an added fee. Washing of bedsheets and the like are the responsibility of the resident during their stay. We recommend washing the sheets at least twice a month. No, not on our property. The second person must be declared upon booking. Otherwise, we reserve the right to decline their stay. Only the primary person will be allowed as a resident on-site. The price for a second person is 50% of the room rate. You may not alter any of the furniture in the house, including your private bedroom. Any unauthorized modifications will be removed and restored to the original at the guest's expense. No, our setup is communal in shared spaces. We have placed private workstations in each bedroom. A long-term commitment might be a good option if you need a place for a while and wish to get a discounted rent. Due to our previous experience with guests pushing out limits by arriving either too late or too early, we have a $20/hr fee outside of our check-in window (4 pm-7 pm) because we must pay the staff for working past their regular hours: Yes, we require 50% of the monthly rent as a security deposit. Normal wear and tear are expected. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly. As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no. Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight. Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. Overnight guests in common areas past 11 pm will be charged a $50/ea. We do not accept pets. By law, we allow service dogs. We will provide updated info once you have moved in. DOVE Laundry Mat is a 3min drive from our property. On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night. It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property. If any guest is habitually abusing alcohol such as being incoherent, finding it hard to balance, or passing out in common areas, then we will reserve the right to disallow alcohol on our premises. All utility bills, like water, electricity, and internet access, plus monthly cleaning of common areas are included in your rent. We recommend that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is on your own. The common areas come fully furnished. Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential. No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food. There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience. Sadly, we only offer a cleaning service in the common areas. We do not offer this service ourselves. Yes. We offer extra room cleaning service on demand. Kitchen, theatre Den, dining and chillout area, living room, and other shared spaces. You have access to a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food. We ask that you clean up any mess you make during and after food preparation. Kindly label all food items and left-over (with date). Anything over a week old or left unlabeled in the fridge will be thrown-out. You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirement for the day. Yes, kindly strip the bed sheets and make sure the trash bins are emptied before leaving. No, all your personal items must be kept in your room. Yes. The communal areas are cleaned once a week. Between 3 to 6 people, including yourself. Each of the three (3) rooms may host up to three (3) people max. We welcome people from everywhere and of any nationality. Yes. The community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members. The average age of our members is 28 years old. We mainly get people between 21 and 35. Most people are staying with us for a while. Between 1 to 3 months on average. We normally have an equal distribution between male and female residents. Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents. With just a few minutes walk, you have a selection of good and cheap restaurants. Our favorite is KING JERK for no-frills authentic Haitian Jerk Chicken and BBQ Ribs. Yes. You will be given a key upon check-in. Please do not lose the key. Lost keys will be charged with an extra cost of $50. We take your safety very seriously. The last thing we want is to have a reputation for not being a safe place to stay. We screen both our staff and guests, provide 24-hour security and CCTV cameras are usually installed. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day. The safety and well-being of our members are very important to us. We screen every member beforehand. You may not choose your roommates directly.
