Cozy Southern California condo

A great starting point for anyone wanting to get a "feel" for San Fernando Valley, thirty miles away from downtown Los Angeles. Walking distance to California State University, Northridge and Performing Arts Center. This is not really for someone wanting a vacation by the beach or near downtown LA. The condominium complex is gated and includes a pool, green area, and tennis courts. You can walk to CSUN in fifteen minutes or step outside and find yourself at a grocery store, the gym, the park, or bus stop in less than five minutes. There is none of that "hustle and bustle" going around, though, as the residents are either at work, school, or other activities. You would probably need to occupy yourself, unless you are staying over the weekend. When I am home, I do enjoy chatting with the guests- if they are up for it. I can be as helpful and friendly a host as needed or completely hands off, depending on what you like. I am knowledgeable about San Fernando Valley and can recommend or show you places to go. There are no pets kept inside the house, only outside. 2.5 shared bathrooms. There is laundry in the first floor bathroom which you may use, provided it is not excessive. Upstairs, there are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. One of the bathrooms with the shower is located in my master suite- that one will not be available between 10 pm and 7 am. If you need me to pick you up from an airport, we can arrange that for a fee ahead of time, provided I am available. Otherwise there are buses, shuttles, taxis, and uber. I am about 45-50 minutes from Los Angeles Airport. Room(s): 1. Single Room (Upstairs bedroom) with Shared bathroom Upstairs bedroom with bed. There is no top bunk lime shown in photo. Includes closet, desk. Room rate is per single person. Capacity: 1 Rates: 250.00 Weekly / 900.00 Monthly House Rules: No smoking, no drugs, no guests, no drinking, quiet after 10 pm. You need to be friendly and a well behaved guest. Be respectful and I will see to it that you have a pleasant stay. Feel free to use kitchen but clean up afterwards. Treat my house and family the way you'd like to be treated. I won't use this space to write down obvious rules such as, flush after yourself. Don't hog the bathroom, don't keep lights on all night. I will make a copy of either your passport/drivers license/other ID upon arrival. There is a returnable total $20 upfront cash deposit for 2 keys: one for front door and one for outside gate. This is a gated complex. Other than that, please speak up and ask questions upon arrival. Some things which may seem obvious may not be so obvious due to cultural differences. So it is best to ask me questions.
