Brooklyn garden retreat

My husband PJ and I are happy to offer our newly renovated basement apartment in our duplex condo in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The space is properly lit with recessed lighting and windows in every room so you don't feel like your in a basement. There is a separate entrance with your own locked door that opens up into the spacious living room which includes a flat screen wireless TV, large futon couch, dinette set, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Just walk down the hallway into the bedroom that offers a queen size bed, wardrobe dresser and desk. From the bedroom, you have a door that leads into the very private backyard. The outdoor space has a filled 8'ft high fence, bistro table, picnic table and padded bench, perfect for laying out and reading a book. The apartment is only a 3 MINUTE WALK to the 3/4 express trains located on Schenectady (UTICA/crown heights train stop). You don't have to worry about a long walk from the train if coming back late at night. Transportation is very convenient! Manhattan is as close as 25-45 minutes train depending on what part of the city. There are grocery markets and affordable take out food options around the apartment that are open late. If you want to explore by feet, just take a 20 minute walk down the beautiful tree lined Eastern Parkway and you will run into busy streets like Kingston, Nostrand and Franklin Ave which have all the food/bar lounge options you would want. Franklin Ave especially is a great street to try new restaurants and cool local bars. Downtown Brooklyn is a 10minute train ride away to Atlantic Center where you will find the Barclays arena. Also, down along Eastern Parkway you will run into the amazing Brooklyn Museum which is a must see! Room(s): 1. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room has a large Futon (Queen size) which sleeps 2. Access backyard from the bedroom. The apartment is best suited for 2 people.
