The security deposit and the administration fee, for the initial and final cleaning, must be paid to the landlord at the latest two weeks before the move-in date. The rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in. Failure to comply with this instruction will result in the impossibility of entering the flat. RENTAL CONDITIONS: According to Italian law, it is mandatory to request a valid Italian tax code to sign the rental contract. You can request one by contacting your local consulate or going to the Agenzia delle Entrate no later than one week before the check-in. If you fail to obtain one within the deadline, a charge will apply. Internet wi-fi, bills, building expenses and contract registration costs are included in the rental price. The rent includes all bills based on normal usage and they are set based on the size of the flat. If you exceed with gas and electricity usage, the extras will be deducted from your deposit at the end of your stay (details will be specified in the rental agreement). If you wish to leave the flat earlier just let us know at least 21 days in advance. Check-in hours: every day from 3pm to 9pm (Late check-in: 50 euros). Check-out hours: at 11am. WiFi and air conditioning cover all rooms.   NEIGHBORHOOD Our “Residence Case Nuove” apartment is located in the quiet and modern area of San Lorenzo a Greve, on an internal street, away from traffic and prying eyes. San Lorenzo a Greve, also known as Ponte a Greve, is a predominantly residential historic district in the 4th district of Florence and takes its name from the homonymous church in the area. The ancient bridge over the Greve river — much more than Ponte Vecchio — which, among subsequent reconstructions, dates back to the Romans, connects the two banks of what for millennia was the backbone of the village: the Via Pisana, a route of pre-Etruscan origin, which has always been the way to the sea. So around the bridge, a village was formed to welcome pilgrims, with the 12th century church of San Lorenzo and a hospital, a tower, and typical terraced houses. In fact, it seems that the church of San Lorenzo was strategically placed adjacent to the ancient bridge to defend the pass on the Greve. Today, the area of San Lorenzo in Greve is affected by a large residential building development as well as a large shopping center that is also very popular with the population of other Florentine neighborhoods.
