Nice room near the Canal

I offer a room in my apartment in the 11th arrondissement, on a quiet, tree-lined avenue between Place de la République and Père Lachaise Cemetery, a stone's throw from the lively Rue Oberkampf, the terraces of Ménilmontant, and the cool shade of Square Gardette. Shops of all kinds, bakeries, delicious restaurants, and metro and bus lines make it easy to get anywhere in Paris. I'm a philosophy professor and I live with my cat. I occasionally host students looking for a quiet and pleasant place to study for their exams. Room(s): 1. Single Room (The room) with Private bathroom The room is for one person. It overlooks the courtyard and is spacious. Double-glazed windows, shutters, curtains. A comfortable double bed. A small desk. Capacity: 1 Rates: 500.00 Weekly / Monthly House Rules: This is a spacious and comfortable room for one person, perfect for resting, studying, and meals. Towels are provided. There are plants to water on the windowsill! The kitchen is suitable for preparing small snacks (not for large meals!). I am strictly vegetarian (always have been), increasingly vegan, so there are no meat or fish products in the fridge! The bathroom is shared (with me and the cat ;). The cat is very friendly and enjoys company, but will stay outside your room. Basic rules for communal living apply: respect, cleanliness, and discretion. Please keep your arrival and departure times reasonable (coming back in the middle of the night making noise is not acceptable, for example). Amenities: Internet Access
