A vibrant city of student life and rich history, Granada is the soul of southern Spain, and we are right in the center of Granada, on the main avenue, on Gran Via de Colon 53 street. From here you are walking distance from all main points of interest in the city: the Alhambra, the Cathedral, Alcaiceria, Moroccan tea shops, Albaicin and Realejo neighborhoods (Moorish and Jewish quarters); go out for tapas or a meal; go to a vibrant flamenco cave or enjoy the bustling nightlife of Granada. Thanks to our privileged location you can walk around the city enjoying the perfect combination of Arab architecture with a unique touch of Granada's character and culture. We are located in a beautiful 1900 Modernist building completely renovated but preserving the essence and soul of the house. An Andalusian jewel that has 4 floors: on the ground floor is the front desk, a cafeteria, a patio, and a beautiful Coworking space. The materials used to restore the historic building are all upcycled: bricks, doors, chairs, tiles, walls… from those that were in the construction at the earliest 1900 when it was built. They have been given a new purpose and life as part of the unique furniture design. When you enter the property you instantly get the feeling of a special and unique ambient. Coliving facilities are located exclusively on the third floor, there is a total of 6 rooms for colivers with two bunk beds each, but total capacity in each room it is set to 2 people (just lower beds since they are more confortable for long term stays). All rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi Internet, heating and air conditioning; reading lights, plugs and lockers; Daily cleaning service in common areas, bathrooms, and shared rooms, and once a week in coliving rooms. Some of the rooms have a pretty terrace and views of the city, some are super quiet and connect with a patio. As additional services we have Laundry (washer and dryer); and access to our Coworking area - a beautiful workspace with a professional high-speed connection with 1Gb fiber. We also offer pack lunch for excursions ("take away" type), homemade dinners, and activities every day. On the top floor, with beautiful views of the Albaicin neighborhood and the city, are the common areas: big kitchen, living room, cinema room with guitars, books, games and smart TV (Netflix) and some toilets. Couples are allowed but take in mind our rooms are four-bed dorms so you might be sharing space with two other guests and have no privacy in the room. Respect for your roommates should be a must at all times. It will depend, usually young travelers that travel and work remotely. If you arrive earlier than 15:00 you can leave your luggage and use our common areas or visit the city. On the check-out date, if your transportation leaves later than 11:00, you can leave your stuff in the luggage room until 22:00. Yes, you can extend your stay subject to availability. If you shorten your stay no refund will be possible since you are taking advantage of a super low rate just because of the length of your stay, take that in mind before taking a decision At most 8 working days after check out. The consumption of alcoholic beverages acquired outside the establishment it is totally prohibited, inside our property. We are not a party complex and enforce proper guest behaviors to create a nice atmosphere for all. As we are in the city center there are many bars, restaurants, coffee places, shops, and a good day-night life. We are just 5 minutes walking from the Cathedral with many tapas options around. There are a lot of transport services available as bus, taxi, über, metro and others The "Federico Garcia Lorca" airport is 16 km from the city but the closest international airport is in Malaga city, one hour from Granada. Lots of activities: visit cultural sites as the Alhambra; winter sports (we are only 45 km away from Sierra Nevada sky resort, one of the best ones in Spain); enjoy the beach (we are only 70 km away from the beach); visit the Alpujarras town villages; adventure sports as climbing, horse riding, paragliding, trekking.... besides in the hostel we organice lots of daily activities as family dinners, mojito nights, movie nights, pub crawls, hiking, free waking city tours, cooking experiences.
