Your homestay hosts Margaret and Danny grew up in Vancouver for most of their lives. They each grew up and have been living in the same neighbourhood for over 40 years and are now raising their 4 children in the same area. Their neighbourhood is lively and enriched with boutiques, coffee shops and recreational facilities. They are very knowledgeable of the sights and scenes of Vancouver and never too busy to help their guests get around the Lower Mainland. Margaret is 44 and enjoys cooking, music, biking, socialising, travel, learning foreign languages and gardening. Danny is 51 and enjoys travel and television. They have hosted students from many countries, i.e. Saudi Arabia, Korea, Japan, Netherlands, China, Switzerland, Taiwan, Mexico, Germany, Colombia, Belgium and France. Their home is very accessible by transit (Zone 1), so travelling downtown only takes about 15-20 minutes, also 10 minutes by bus to Langara College and 30 minutes to UBC. The rooms are fully furnished and wireless internet is available throughout their home. They enjoy opening their home to students and having them become part of their family. Room(s): 1.
