We are a welcoming and friendly Korean Canadian family looking for a homestay student to join our clean, safe, and happy home in the beautiful Willoughby area of Langley. Our detached home is located in a quiet, safe, and transit-friendly neighbourhood with wonderful, welcoming neighbours (predominantly local/English-speaking residents). ***What We Offer: - Spacious 2nd-Floor Bedroom: Features a private closet and an attached/dedicated bathroom. - Shared Option for Siblings: The room is equipped with a bunk bed and a double desk, making it perfect for two siblings, family or friends to share. - Convenient Amenities: High-speed Wi-Fi included, and a laundry room conveniently located on the same floor. - Clean & Healthy Environment: A smoke-free, pet-free home with young children, maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. - Light breakfast is included. You can add meals with extra cost: Lunch($200), Dinner($200) ***Excellent Location & Transit: - Walking Distance to School: Just a short walk to R.E. Mountain Secondary School. - Beautiful Surroundings: A local park is within a 5-minute walk, perfect for walks and outdoor activities. - Public Transit: A bus stop is only a 2-minute walk away, making commuting very easy. - Right at your doorstep: Tim Hortons and a convenience store - Just across the street: A shopping mall (featuring Starbucks, sandwich delis, and a local grocery market) - Within walking distance: Beautiful walking trails and parks - Language & Support:Bilingual Household: Communication is available in both English and Korean. (The children understand and speak Korean, though they primarily communicate in English, providing a great environment for language immersion!) Room(s): 1. Double Room (2nd Floor Bedroom) with Ensuite bathroom Capacity: 2 Rates: 350.00 Weekly / 1400.00 Monthly House Rules: Laundry : Laundry and dryer can be used once a week. Additional use fee after. Quiet Hours : Please keep noise to a minimum after 9:30 PM so the children can sleep. Energy Saving : Before leaving your room, double-check that the lights, computer, and heater/AC are turned OFF. Cleaning & Garbage : Clean your bedroom and bathroom once a week. Garbage Day : Sort recycling and take out the trash every Sunday (Pickup is on Monday morning). Kitchen Use : You are welcome to use the kitchen as long as it does not conflict with the family's breakfast/dinner prep times. Always wash your dishes and clean up immediately after use. Visitors : No visitors allowed in the house. If family members or urgent guests need to visit, you must inform us in advance (Additional fees apply).
