Bright room with private washroom

We have a bright and clean bedroom with a private washroom set up for you! You will have access to a shared patio with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room has a queen bed, standing mirror, desk and walk in closet set up for your comfort. Our home has a spacious kitchen available for you to use, a laundry room, as well as access to our beautiful garden. Its mainly me and my mum as well as our two small dogs and kitten! My dad travels for work so is home for a couple months at a time. There is plenty of street parking if you have a car, if you use a bicycle you can store it in our garage. We live in a peaceful neighbourhood with a walkway through a ravine down to moody middle park. We love our little area and would be happy to show you around and get you settled in! *note: please do take a look at our rules listed, as they are important to us and we want to make sure you are on board with them as well. Students are responsible for cleaning their own bedroom and cleaning up after themselves in common household areas Laundry. Students are welcome to use the laundry area once a week and are required to clear out their clothes within 24 hours of use. Kitchen. The homestay family will not supply meals. The student is welcome to use all kitchen appliances to make their own meals and use designated areas for storage of the groceries/foods they purchase/make. Shared Spaces. The student is welcome to use the kitchen, laundry and garden areas of the home. The common television is not open for use, the student will be required to get their own entertainment for their room. Compensation for any damages.The student is responsible for any damage they may cause to the homestay accommodation. If they damage something, they must pay for the damage if the host family requires it. Orientation for students. Homestay family will give the student a general orientation to the local area and community facilities available, including the public bus system. Items on Property. The student does not have exclusive possession of any part of the homestay accommodation and as such may not remove any of the property from the premises without the homestay host’s written consent. Parking.There is plenty of free street parking available.The student may not use the driveway for parking. Guests.The student must obtain the approval of the homestay host prior to bringing any of their friends to visit whilst in the homestay accommodation. Guests are not permitted to stay past 10pm. Overnight guests will not be accommodated. Pets.The student is unable to keep pets whilst in the homestay accommodation. Atmosphere.The student must not be noisy, disruptive, or create any nuisance in the homestay accommodation. The homestay host will facilitate a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in their home and treat the student as they would any other member of their family. No smoking in the homestay or on the patios.
