Private Home Cottage

My name is Tara, my husband's name is Vincent, and we live with our two children (Tyler & Mitchell), in our beautiful home in Worongary, and we would love to be your hosts for your stay. Vincent grew up in Tasmania and I am from Africa (having lived in most Southern African countries). We settled on the Gold Coast as the lifestyle here is out of this world, especially with two children and we consider ourselves lucky every day. We'd love for you to enjoy the Gold Coast as much as we do! Our home is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Worongary (Mudgeeraba). We are conveniently located five minutes from restaurants and shops and 10 minutes to the Robina Town Centre (shopping mall and amazing restaurants), the Robina Hospital, and ten minutes to the beach, with easy access to the M1. Your accommodation is a clean, comfortable, self-contained suite, which is situated below to our home in a separate building. This gives you complete privacy, and allows to you to come and go as you please. Our home is gated for safety and privacy and you will not see any neighbours at all. Your cottage overlooks a creek, and the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds. The cottage itself consists of a large bedroom with en-suite, a living room and kitchenette (fully functional) and a lounge room/tv room. You have a private outdoor patio with chairs overlooking green lawns and the creek and your own washing line (clothes washer and tumble dryer upstairs with us). We have no pets to bother you. The bedroom has a queen bed and the kitchenette and lounge/tv rooms have a sofa (folding out into an extra bed), computer desk and chair, tv with local stations and netflix, wifi, kettle, toaster, fridge, oven and cooker tops, microwave, ceiling fan and air-conditioning / heating. There are blinds on all windows for your privacy. The en-suite consists of a toilet, sink and shower and walkin closets with mirrors. We supply towels and bedding, tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. Our kitchenette is fully functional, and grocery shop just minutes down the road. For eating out, Ubereats and Deliveroo deliver to the area, and there are also a number of restaurants nearby. This is a family home with young children and good neighbours, so we ask guests to please respect our home. We would love to have you to come and stay! Room(s): 1. There is a document folder with all details you'll need when you arrive. Wifi password/list of restaurants, map of the area, emergency contacts, tv instructions/theme park and activity brochures etc and I work from home upstairs so around if you need anything. You're welcome to call me on my mobile at any time. Please - No guests allowed unless arranged with the hosts. Full Payment to be made on arrival (cash). No noise or parties after 9pm. There is a private, covered parking for you in our yard. Our home is gated and upon booking, details of this will be sent to you. Please keep the gate closed. Please turn the Air-conditioning / heating off when you are out. There is a fully functional kitchen in the cottage. Grocery stores are just down the road. For restaurant meals, Ubereats and Deliveroo deliver to the area, there are also a number of restaurants nearby. Check in is 2pm, check out is 10.00am, however if there is no-one staying in the cottage the night before you, or the night after, this is flexible. Maximum occupancy = three adults or two adults and children (please confirm numbers with us). Pets may be allowed (must be prearranged). Our yard is fully enclosed. Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage but you have an outdoor patio available to you. We do have a swimming pool but this is up at the main house and we have two children that use it often, please talk to us if you wish to have a swim. We have a very small home style gym under the house, by your cottage and you're welcome to use it. (treadmill, loose weights, kettlebells).
