Thornbury room with loving family

Hi there, we are a family with two kids (3 and 10), two adults and our beautiful Irish wolfhound x staghound Betty! We are looking for a house mate, someone who WANTS to live with a family. We are both parents first, but for work - one of us works for a social enterprise and is going to be practicing as a play therapist come this July. The other as a doula and circle facilitator. Our 10 yo spends 9 nights a fortnight with us and our almost 3 yo is our baby. We are conscious/connected/aware parents - as best we can be. We eat almost all foods, but try to eat as organically, locally and sustainability as possible. One of the rooms pictured will be the one we rent out, depending on how we decide to arrange the house and what the new special human joining us, needs. Confession - we have a small fridge - it’s just the space where it goes, so adding a little bar fridge to the mix (potentially in our sweet sun room) would be the most comfortable for you. Betty is a lovely affectionate dog who only barks if you leave her outside too long (she’s house trained) or someone strange comes to the house, but warms up quickly to guests. On our weekends we are walking our dog, going to Alphington farmers market, trying to squeeze in exercise and breathwork between parenting our kiddos, playing cricket in the back yard ?? We love to cook, share meals, be together as a family as much as possible and we would love to have a special human join our family. We have one split system in the dining space and a great heater in the lounge that dries all our clothes during the chilly winter months. Rest of the house is fully furnished but also have space in our garage if you need. Off street parking available and bus stop is right around the corner on Darebin Road. We expect to discuss with potential house mates, all the regular boundaries that would come living with kids. Must be a good sleeper, someone dedicated to their own personal growth and nervous system. Via Public Transport we are 20 minutes from La Trobe University in Bundoora and 35 minutes from RMIT, University of Melbourne and any other educational facilities located in the city. There is a bus stop just 1 minute walk from the house. Price includes all bills.
