My occupation is counsellor/welfare officer I currently work with people with addiction, I'm very passionate about my work. We have 4 children all grown and married, I also have 6 grand- children. We feel we have this large home and we would like to offer our services to students to come into our home and experience our home life and our Australian-Italian culture. Every Sunday we have family night and all our children and grandchildren come to share a meal and have a few belly laughs together, we never know how loud the night will be. But be sure it never is a late night as everyone needs to go to work in the morning. So by 8pm it becomes very quiet again. My husband and I very outdoor's people we often pack a picnic and we will go off fishing for the day. (If a Student would like to come they would be more than welcome) Once a year we also go travelling and we might be absent for 3-4 weeks at a time. Our home has 7 bedrooms. We can also provide the option to share a room if need be. I will only, at this moment be providing 5 rooms. Our home is very large, that at times we cannot find each other and therefore I ring my husband on his mobile. I don't think that space will be a problem. In regards to public transport all you need to do is walk accross the road to the bus stop. The buses run every 10 minutes including express buses which means limited stops. These buses connect to many other services including the train services, and passing Edith Cowan University, Central Tafe, Cambridge College, UWA and many more. We feel our home is very CENTRAL. Room(s): 1. Single Room (single bed) with Shared bathroom warm comfortable room with plenty of sun light on ground floor Capacity: 1 Rates: 308.00 Weekly / 1415.00 Monthly House Rules: HOUSE RULES MEALS •Dinner served at 6:00pm sharp. If you are not intending to eat dinner at home, you must inform me before 2:00pm on the day. •Assist with setting of the table and washing of dishes at meal times. •During meal times, mobile phones and other electronic devices are to be left in your room. •During meal times, English must be spoken at the table to help improve your English skills. •No food or drink to be consumed in the bedrooms. SECURITY AND SAFETY •No visitors to enter the house unless Caterina or Aldo are home, or pre-arranged. •When leaving the house, make sure you lock the doors behind you. Also when entering the house, make sure you lock the doors behind you. •You are responsible for your own belongings. If there is anything you wish to lock away, please arrange this with Caterina. CLEANING •Keep bedrooms and bathrooms clean and tidy at all times. Shower screens and basin must be wiped down after usage. •On Saturday of every week, your bed must be stripped of all linen and dirty linen to be place in the laundry and vacuum your room (for under 18’s you must allow access into your bedroom for changing of bed linen). •When using the washing machine, ensure you wipe it down and leave it clean. GENERAL CONSIDERATION .Strictly no smoking in bedrooms/house, only in designated areas and cigarette butts to be place in ashtrays. Respect one another’s privacy and belongings •Keep noise/music to an acceptable level. Noise must be kept down after 9:00pm on weekdays. OTHER •Showers are limited to 5 minutes. •There will be an extra charge of $10.00 per week for the use of Wi-Fi. This must be paid in advance for the duration of your stay.(internet will be turned off at 9:30pm, no down loading of movies or music allowed). •If you break anything within the house, you will be liable for paying for or replacing damaged goods. Additional Info: Language spoken at home is English, Italian and Aldo speak a little Spanish and very little Japanese.
