Welcome to our warm and friendly home in the heart of Elsternwick! We’re a relaxed household made up of myself, my two daughters (aged 24 and 27), two adorable mini schnauzers, and a foster cat who ended up becoming part of the family permanently. We have a spacious bedroom available featuring a king single bed or a queen size bed, built-in robe, and desk — ideal for someone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to call home. The house has a bright open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area at the rear of the property, overlooking a beautiful timber deck, garden, and veggie patch. We’re keen travellers who love meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences from around the world. Our household follows a sustainable and mostly vegan lifestyle and we’re passionate about reducing our environmental footprint, so we’d especially love to hear from people who share similar values. All bills are in the price, including gas, electricity, and the internet. However, we’re happy to negotiate with the right person. Single Room (Middle Room) with Shared bathroom Capacity: 1 Rates: 350.00 Weekly / 1500.00 Monthly 2. Single Room (Office bedroom) with Shared bathroom This room is in the centre of the house near the kitchen. It has a large window & beautiful natural light during the day. When I do not have guests, I use this room as my office. I use it for special guests only. Capacity: 1 Rates: 350.00 Weekly / 1500.00 Monthly House Rules: House Etiquette & Comfort Utilities: You get 2 laundry loads per week and 1 shower per day. Safety: No electric blankets or heat pads on the bed due to fire hazards. Environment: This is a strictly non-smoking property. Courtesy: Keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM to respect other members. Kitchen Guidelines Dietary: This is a vegan household. Restrictions: Do not bring animal flesh or secretions (dairy, eggs, etc.) into the home. Access: You have full access to the kitchen as needed. Cleaning: Wash dishes and tidy up immediately after preparing meals. Care: Treat the home with the same care as your own. Logistics & Payments Payment: Pay all outstanding fees at least 24 hours prior to your arrival (variations can be made but only if arranged prior to arrival). Departure: Standard checkout time is 1:00 PM.
