10 Minutes Walk to Skytrain Station, 5 min walk to Douglas College

We have a large, bright beautiful house in New Westminster. It is a 5 minute walk to Douglas College and an 8 minute walk to New West or Columbia skytrain station. Bus service is at the end of the street, and skytrain is 25 minutes from New Westminster to downtown Vancouver. The street and house are very quiet, and we have a nice garden for you to enjoy. Your room (to be) is already furnished, and we already have linens, blankets and towels. It faces West, and is on the upper (second) floor, with a shared bath, which we keep clean, and affords more than enough privacy. Living room and kitchen on the main floor, and we have 2 washers, 2 dryers, wireless internet, and satellite tv, as well as a regular land line telephone. To make matters simple, we include food, utilities, and all the things (such as soap, detergent, toilet paper, and minor items that people argue about), for a total cost of $790 per month. You should only need your clothes, and personal toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, etc.) The food is very good, and you will never go hungry - it always changes with the season and reflects what is fresh at the market. We make a dinner every day, and from this you can pack a lunch box to take to school the next day. In the morning you help yourself to breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc.). And yes, you can have a snack. Though we seldom go out to nightclubs, we do go swimming, shopping, movies, to the beach in summer, as well as camping and dinner parties with friends. We are drug free and non-smokers, but an occasional social drink is fine. We are a very friendly gay couple, (married for 10 years) who have extensive experience as home stay hosts, and keep in touch with all of our former guests/family. We have had guests stay for as little as 6 months, and as long as 6 years.
