Nice Home For Student - Walking distance from bus stop.

My husband Scott and I have hosted students from Mexico, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Columbia, Lybia, Saudi Arabia and UAE. We love helping our students learn about life in the USA and we love learning about their cultures. We have a second home with a homestay mom named Jean. The house has 4 bedrooms, with 3 rooms available for students, which include beds, desks, lamps, dressers and closets. Our home is in a very nice, safe and quiet neighborhood. The students have a shared bathroom. There is a living room with nice newer couches a television with cable and high speed WiFi internet access. Shared Laundry facilities are provided at no charge. We will provide your laundry soap. It is our goal to make your stay in the United States fun and educational. All of our students have quickly become members of our family. We stay in touch with them and our very first student has even come back to visit! We enjoy taking our students on short road trips to visit fun and interesting places. We also invite our students to join us when we do fun activities such as movies, plays, lake cruises and visits to historical landmarks. We have a fire pit in the back yard and enjoy evening fires. Jean LOVES to cook, and enjoys cooking many different meals for herstudents. We cook a full dinner meal in the evenings and provide food for the students to make their own breakfast, and lunch to take to school. There are also snacks available. During the summer she enjoys bar-b-queing outside. There are no pets at this house. Smoking is alowed outside only. There is a bus stop within walking distance of the house, where a bus will take you directly to the English Language School (ESL) and Spokane Community College. The bus ride is about 40 minutes. Shopping for needed items that could not be packed. Riding the bus with you to school and back home so, that you are comfortable traveling back and forth.
